Producer Exporter Group of Citrus and Mango's

The group evolved in 2003 as a result of deregulation in the citrus industry. Many farmers were unhappy with the level of service and transparency within the exporter’s fraternity, and as a result, decided to take control of their own export channels.



Lemons are used for culinary and non-culinary purposes throughout the world, primarily for its juice, though the pulp and rind (zest) are also used in cooking and baking.
